Gary Peterson purchased the shop in 2005 with the desire to work with his hobby—fishing.  Gary is a Battle Lake native and has been fishing the local lakes his whole life.  Before purchasing the shop, Gary worked closely with the previous owners to fully understand customer expectations in order to continue and extend the shop’s reputation for customer commitment and service

excellence.  Throughout the 70s & 80s, Gary spent many years as a sales rep in the tackle industry, and he is excited and proud to be back in the business.  He’s dedicated to providing the top brands of tackle and quality bait needed to make your fishing experience one you won’t soon forget.

Our team will work hard to provide you with the top of the line bait, tackle and equipment you need to fill your limit.  We not only provide you with the best, but we will prepare your order prior to your arrival.   All you need to do is call and let us know what you need and it will be waiting for you when you get there!  If we don’t have it—we’ll do our best to get it for you prior to your arrival.
