Wreath Camp is a four hour interactive
activity made possible by the Homestead Inn which provides warmth
and comfort through its quaint atmosphere as well as refreshments
to keep you going throughout the camp and is instructed by JoAnn
Meyer of Dent.
JoAnn has been a crafter of natural sticks and grasses for over
21 years. She attends many craft shows and sells what she makes
for a living. JoAnn helps to guide her students at camp to see the
vast choices we have in decorating and making their own wreath to
keep for themselves or to give as gifts.
"One of my favorite things about
wreath camp is being able to share my knowledge and what I have
learned in all my years of crafting" says JoAnna. "There
is so much out there, a lot of people don't realize and see what
they have to work with to be able to make crafts right in there
own backyards or along the ditches of our Minnesota country roads."
All materials needed to make the wreaths/projects
are provided by JoAnn, all you need to do is dress appropriately
for the weather and join the fun. Everyone is welcome to attend
Wreath Camp, young or old you can learn new ways to decorate and
enjoy a day or weekend to yourself.
Get together with your girlfriend and
make a
weekend out of it. Check out our specials.

JoAnn works closely with students to show them the techniques she
has learned through the years to make crafting easier.
